Fraud : Malcolm Gregg

Malcolm GreggMalcolm’s secondary education was at Wolverhampton Grammar School and he graduated from Liverpool University in 1974. His professional qualifications and training were completed in Liverpool and he was admitted as a solicitor in 1978, managing the branch office of a local firm.

In 1984, he set up his own business in Liverpool City Centre, Malcolm J Gregg & Co, and was the Senior Partner until the firm became incorporated with Quinn Melville in 2000.

Throughout his professional career, Malcolm has spent the majority of his time as a Criminal Defence Practitioner and has been actively involved as a Duty Solicitor, being on the Local Duty Solicitor Committee for a number of years before being made its Chairman. At present, he is the Vice Chairman of the Regional Duty Solicitor Scheme and represents Liverpool Law Society, both on the Crown Court Liaison Committee and on the Community Justice Centre Court Users Group. Malcolm is also a Higher Courts Advocate in criminal proceedings.

Since joining Quinn Melville as a Consultant, Malcolm has spent an increasing amount of time defending those charged with high value frauds and related offences.
