Malcolm Gregg
Malcolm’s secondary education was at Wolverhampton Grammar School and he graduated from Liverpool University in 1974. His professional qualifications and training were completed in Liverpool and he was admitted as a solicitor in 1978, managing the branch office of a local firm.
In 1984, he set up his own business in Liverpool City Centre, Malcolm J Gregg & Co, and was the Senior Partner until the firm became incorporated with Quinn Melville in 2000. Throughout his professional career, Malcolm has spent the majority of his time as a Criminal Defence Practitioner and has been actively involved as a Duty Solicitor, being on the Local Duty Solicitor Committee for a number of years before being made its Chairman. Malcolm is also a Higher Courts Advocate in criminal proceedings which enables him to advise and represent clients from first interview at the police station through to trial at the Crown Court.
Since joining Quinn Melville as a Consultant, Malcolm has spent an increasing amount of time defending those charged with high value frauds and related offences.
Malcolm has been a member of the Statutory Duty Solicitor Scheme since it’s inception.
